The Bookworm started as a school book fair company way back in the 70’s. From there we grew into an educational supply store with materials for teachers, schools, parents, grandparents and churches. In 1985 we moved from the owner’s house into our first storefront.
Along the way we held many teacher/parent workshops, attended hundreds of educational conferences, continued offering book fairs to schools and created a family of employees – most were teachers on summer break or students studying to become teachers. We all learned a lot along the way.
After three locations (and expanding three times in one location), the development of an online store in 1999, and 20+ years of bricks-and-mortar retail, we retired from the day-to-day responsibilities of a retail location and moved the store 100% online.
And here we are today, still offering Learning Tools for Home and School!
